Racine was my first experience of "midwest life". It is beautiful here! I'm so glad Scott and I rented Mary's farmhouse instead of renting in the "city"....Rochester. It was a wonderful experience, something I hope to do again. I would love to raise a family out in the country. It is so peaceful, serene, and "un-modern" here. I can always appreciate the "old fashioned" way of life. As much as Mary will miss us, and we will miss Mary...I will very much miss this peaceful little house and I am dissappointed I won't live here long enough to see Racine in "full bloom"!! I was really looking forward to gardening and maybe even raising some lambkins.

Oh well!! To the city we shall go!! And how delighted I will be!!!
